Army Rocks.!!!

Hey guys... i'm finally blogging. Ya.. it's been a long time. Just wanna let you all noe that im doing fine in NS. Though at times got scolded, get tease by platoon and section mates, but i really enjoy army. The training that i went through, some are tough, phyiscally challenging. But i thank God that the people helped me alot. My commanders, section/platoon mates help me alot. And talking abt the food here, at times is good, at times are really bad. Actually, army is nt that bad. It's all about Discipline and Unity. It's abt Standardisation. For those guys that are enlisting soon, u should really be mentality prepared. Why? Cause if u say u cant, u literally cant do it. BUT if say, ''I can do it'', den nothing can stop you.

Hi all ! :)
Just want to thank the cell group for coming down to support Agnes,Alexandra and Myself during our water baptism. Indeed, it was an awesome experience and I believe the 'new man' in all of us is alive and kicking and ready to serve God even more! :D
And yep Easter is about 1 month + away.I pray that this Easter we are able to send the message across to all our friends and family that our Jesus is Alive and not dead , and he's come to save the world from our sins! :) I really believe that when we gather together to pray for our friends and family,God will hear our prayers and answer them. There is power in agreement , Amen ? (:

Yup it's gonna be a great Easter this year definitely, so let's prepare our hearts and start praying ! (:

FINALLY!

Hi guys and girls,

FINALLY!!!! I had finish my last module and ready to enjoy my life!!! wor.....

No more late night study for exam! no more worried that my work can't pass. I felt sooooooooo... good.

Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:4)

Yes! now I feel I'm so completed.
My time and effort wasn't wasted.

the path was painful but the fruit is WONDERFUL!
I felt alive again. AMEN!

in 4mths time, I will take up another course. :) dip in foregin administration. is to assist my father in his business. but currently I will have 4mth of good rest for my soul and spirit to recharge for my Next run.

life is about ever-learning, ever-humbling, ever-growing and ever-adventing till I'm called home. Amen!

Thanks for brother and sister that had always kept me in their prayer... I will pray for U guys too :D

The Balance of Life

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much areas as possible.Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, “Why did I push myself so hard so cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself.”The above story is similar with the journey of our life. We push very hard everyday to make money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.One day when we look back, we will realize that we don’t really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts.Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence.So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile, life is short. Do not take life for granted. Live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy life.

Prayer

Hey guys and gals... it's been a long time since we update tis blog.. Let us continue to post something into tis blog... ok? So as many of us are busy with our own careers, let us continue to pray to God. Let's make room for God to speak, fellowship with us. And if God really have one ''need'', den His need is to fellowship with us. I believe what Pst Tan said two weeks ago, ''You are called to be human beings, not human doings.'' God created Man after everything was done so that we can have fellowship with our Abba Father. So the only time that we can fellowship with God is through prayer. In a prayer, there's only God and you. So we should enjoy the time ''fellowshipping'' with God. Three things that we need to know about prayer:
1. Be open to hear from God in your prayers.(Acts9:8-12)
We should open up our ears when we pray. Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
2. Be specific in your prayers.
Don't pray like, ''God bless my family'' etc cos you will never know when God is going to bless or to what degree God will bless your family.
3. Be persistant in your prayers.(Lk11:9-13)
Never give up until your needs have been met. So finally, i wanna wish u all a HAPPY and PROPEROUS NEW YEAR. 2009 will be a better year for all of us. All things are POSSIBLE, if we can believe.

Don't Look Back

Hi guys and gals... this may be my last post for the year 2008. And i just wanna remind u of Pst Kong sermon that was preached last weekend. Indeed, 2008 is the best year for many of us. But as the year 2008 is coming to a end... we must not look back. I believe that 2009 will be a better, prosperous year for all of us. And we should have this mindset: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. 4 area we better Don't Look Back:
1. The old sins
2. The old defeats
3. The old conflicts
4. The old victories
Finally... just wanna wish u all a HAPPY NEW YEAR and a GREAT YEAR AHEAD IN 2009.

Lighting up love and hope

Christmas is a day to commemorate the birth of Christ Jesus. Over the centuries, classic Christmas traditions are practiced all over the world: perhaps beginning with the yule log, decoration of the Christmas tree, singing of Christmas carols, presents and icicle lights.

But wait! Behind all the celebration and midst of fun, there are many other people who are struggling with their life. Yet, within every storm that comes our way in life, there is a 'hidden message' for us to become better people and to make a difference in the lives of others. Indeed, in some parts of people's lives, there may be darkness. But just by lighting up a candle, it provides light, hope and warmth.

So friends, can we not just be self-minded or love only oneself? Can we spread the love of Jesus to those we cherish around us and those who are lonely, hopeless or broken-hearted? "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. I believe together we can make a difference in others life, for God call us to be the 'salt of the earth and light of the world'!

With light, love and hope, darkness shall be overcome!

Wonderful year of 2008

The year is coming to a end. As we look back at 2008, to some of us, it's a good year but for some of them are bad. In anyway, 2008 is coming to a end. It's no use to cry or be sad over 2008, nothing can be done. So guys.. let's us forget all the bad, the sad etc But let us focus on the year 2009. 2009 will be a better year for all of us. Finally.. Christmas is also coming. Wishing u all a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Candle Night 20122008

Hi all Brother and Sister,

Did you guys had a wonderful night? I do have a great night today.

Seriously I do feel very warming when the whole church was dark for a moment and then it was all light up, not by the hall light, but by the little flame that was burning on our candle.

And when everyone lighting each other candle up, symbolize hopes! It shows that if everyone is willing to share to light up someone life, hopes will never die.

so as this year coming to a close. had you guys planned what to do for the year 2009?
it is going to be another toughter and even more challenging year for me but I tell you guys, at the end of year 2009, I will be stronger greater than 2008 because I live my life with a GREAT GOD. Moreover I had planned my life for 2009. Believing in this line "If you failed to plan, you planned to fail."

Just before I end my message to everyone, I will email everyone a softcopy of myGoal, for you all to plan your 2009 on your computer. and the coming jan, I will be going for my blood donation, anyone interested to light up someone life with me?

Asia Conference 2008

Hi a very good morning to all earlier bird.. It is finally here. The Asia Conference... the conference where all Asian gather together... "DIAO..." Ya forget to intro. Hi my name is Prince, I will be your guide for the next 5 days of Asia Conference.

Anyway today will be the first day of Asia conference, So i will be attending the welcome lunch @ 12pm. =p Yummy Yummy more Singapore food. Straight after lunch, I be going straight for my electives. Do take note, electives will be held at different parts of Expo. (http://www.asiaconference.org.sg/electives.php for more update of the venue of each elective)

To make things simple for you people, your beloved CGL had ask me to come out with a calendar for you all to guide you throughout the whole 5 days.

BTW, just a gentle reminder... do come early to get the best seat, As the chinese alway say, "Early Bird get to eat the best worm 1st." To reece for you about the crowd, i had travel into future using my "REN YI MAN". FULL CAPACITY!!!! all the way to the overflow room. So guys and gals, please do reach earlier. we meet 2 hrs before the 1st session start. Which is 730pm - 2hrs = 530pm. (Let all meet at subway at 530pm today, we be going down together.) * if you are late, do queue up yourself, we be meeting at subway again 10mins after the service for some debriefing..

Lastly let all come with a heart of expectancy and looking forward for a mighty breakthru in our church and CG. Anyway dont forget to invite your friends for this conference, do inform Alvin if you are bringing any friends so he can go greet them personally.

When I am sad.

When I'm sad,

I choose to sit in one side of my bed, shares my problems to pillows. No matter how painful the thing was I never let a tear out.

Now when I am sad,

I cried as I pray for peace, i felt i'm so weak. (Not man, Not cool). Yet I know someone up there will heard it.

Thank God, he is always picking on me, wanting to mould me to serve him better.

Arise and Build 2008

Hey guys... yesterday service was really awesome. The presence of God was very tangible. And the whole entire church pledged the amount onto the Arise and Build card. I could feel the faith around the whole service. Even as we have pledged the amount to God, let's believe that we can have the building in the marketplace, for the marketplace, to penetrate the marketplace. Let's believe that we are able to raised $24 million over the next months. And even now is building fund season, let's continue to pay our tithe and give our offerings. Let's believe that in this season of Arise and Build, i wanna believe with you that God will continue to bless all. For all the working adults, i believe that salary increment and promotion will run to you. For all the NS men, i believe that you will be promoted again and again. For all the students, i wanna believe that God will bless us in our studies, having more allowance. And to Xiuhui, even as you are selling 2nd-hand clothes, bags etc i wanna believe that more people will come and buy from. Guys... like what Pastor have said, we are not into building buildings. But we are here to build a life of character and obedience. I believe that the whole cg and the church will have breakthroughs.

Fourth Dimension Living

Greetings to all...
This week service,Pastor Kong preach on the sermon, Fourth Dimension Living.In this world that we live, the world sees only in 3 dimension.(length, breadth and height)So you might ask, ''wat's the fourth dimension?'' Now i tell you the answer: Faith. Jesus says in Matt 17:20 that if have faith of a mustard seed, and nothing will be impossible for you. The size of a mustard see is so small that you need a microscope to see it. So Jesus is only asking for a little faith from us. Jesus' says, according to your faith let it be done. In this season Arise and Build, let us not give wat we think we should, but we should ask God, ''God, wat's the amount You want me to give?'' And indeed, obedience is better than scarifice. So guys and gals, we are all sons and daughters of God. It's better we obey God rather than scarificing so much to him and as a result God rejected it. In 2 weeks' time, we are going to believe God for $24 million. You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, His generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Let's Arise and Build

Arise and Build 08 is coming!!!!

Greetings in the name of Jesus to all!!
As all of you know tat the Arise and Build campaign 08 is in 6weeks' time. And once again we wanna give God a scarifical amount. In this Arise and Build, we are not into building buildings. But we are here to build a live of obedience and faith. It's not the amount we are talking. But it's the amount of scarifices you and i are going to sow. I believe that as we give a scarifical amount, God will open up the windows of heaven for you. He will pour out not just blessing, but blessings and abundance into your life. You will have so much that you will become a blesser around the people. What do you want from God? What can you give to God? Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams](Eph 3:20- Amplified version)
