The Balance of Life

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much areas as possible.Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, “Why did I push myself so hard so cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself.”The above story is similar with the journey of our life. We push very hard everyday to make money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.One day when we look back, we will realize that we don’t really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts.Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence.So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile, life is short. Do not take life for granted. Live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy life.

Prayer

Hey guys and gals... it's been a long time since we update tis blog.. Let us continue to post something into tis blog... ok? So as many of us are busy with our own careers, let us continue to pray to God. Let's make room for God to speak, fellowship with us. And if God really have one ''need'', den His need is to fellowship with us. I believe what Pst Tan said two weeks ago, ''You are called to be human beings, not human doings.'' God created Man after everything was done so that we can have fellowship with our Abba Father. So the only time that we can fellowship with God is through prayer. In a prayer, there's only God and you. So we should enjoy the time ''fellowshipping'' with God. Three things that we need to know about prayer:
1. Be open to hear from God in your prayers.(Acts9:8-12)
We should open up our ears when we pray. Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
2. Be specific in your prayers.
Don't pray like, ''God bless my family'' etc cos you will never know when God is going to bless or to what degree God will bless your family.
3. Be persistant in your prayers.(Lk11:9-13)
Never give up until your needs have been met. So finally, i wanna wish u all a HAPPY and PROPEROUS NEW YEAR. 2009 will be a better year for all of us. All things are POSSIBLE, if we can believe.

Don't Look Back

Hi guys and gals... this may be my last post for the year 2008. And i just wanna remind u of Pst Kong sermon that was preached last weekend. Indeed, 2008 is the best year for many of us. But as the year 2008 is coming to a end... we must not look back. I believe that 2009 will be a better, prosperous year for all of us. And we should have this mindset: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. 4 area we better Don't Look Back:
1. The old sins
2. The old defeats
3. The old conflicts
4. The old victories
Finally... just wanna wish u all a HAPPY NEW YEAR and a GREAT YEAR AHEAD IN 2009.

Wonderful year of 2008

The year is coming to a end. As we look back at 2008, to some of us, it's a good year but for some of them are bad. In anyway, 2008 is coming to a end. It's no use to cry or be sad over 2008, nothing can be done. So guys.. let's us forget all the bad, the sad etc But let us focus on the year 2009. 2009 will be a better year for all of us. Finally.. Christmas is also coming. Wishing u all a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Arise and Build 2008

Hey guys... yesterday service was really awesome. The presence of God was very tangible. And the whole entire church pledged the amount onto the Arise and Build card. I could feel the faith around the whole service. Even as we have pledged the amount to God, let's believe that we can have the building in the marketplace, for the marketplace, to penetrate the marketplace. Let's believe that we are able to raised $24 million over the next months. And even now is building fund season, let's continue to pay our tithe and give our offerings. Let's believe that in this season of Arise and Build, i wanna believe with you that God will continue to bless all. For all the working adults, i believe that salary increment and promotion will run to you. For all the NS men, i believe that you will be promoted again and again. For all the students, i wanna believe that God will bless us in our studies, having more allowance. And to Xiuhui, even as you are selling 2nd-hand clothes, bags etc i wanna believe that more people will come and buy from. Guys... like what Pastor have said, we are not into building buildings. But we are here to build a life of character and obedience. I believe that the whole cg and the church will have breakthroughs.

Hey guys... yesterday we have a awesome prayer meeting @ Alvin's house. Together wif me were Wendell, Adrian, Jasmine, Agnes and my sister, sharon. It was good to be together in dwelling in the presence of God. During the PM,we took the boldness and faith to visualize what we will beocme and speaking forth what God showed us. Just to refresh your memory, Pastor preach on the sermon, Fourth Dimemsion. So guys... let's have faith. For all the visions and dreams God has given, believe in it and it will come true. Fourth Dimension Living

Greetings to all...
This week service,Pastor Kong preach on the sermon, Fourth Dimension Living.In this world that we live, the world sees only in 3 dimension.(length, breadth and height)So you might ask, ''wat's the fourth dimension?'' Now i tell you the answer: Faith. Jesus says in Matt 17:20 that if have faith of a mustard seed, and nothing will be impossible for you. The size of a mustard see is so small that you need a microscope to see it. So Jesus is only asking for a little faith from us. Jesus' says, according to your faith let it be done. In this season Arise and Build, let us not give wat we think we should, but we should ask God, ''God, wat's the amount You want me to give?'' And indeed, obedience is better than scarifice. So guys and gals, we are all sons and daughters of God. It's better we obey God rather than scarificing so much to him and as a result God rejected it. In 2 weeks' time, we are going to believe God for $24 million. You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, His generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Arise and Build 08 is coming!!!!

Greetings in the name of Jesus to all!!
As all of you know tat the Arise and Build campaign 08 is in 6weeks' time. And once again we wanna give God a scarifical amount. In this Arise and Build, we are not into building buildings. But we are here to build a live of obedience and faith. It's not the amount we are talking. But it's the amount of scarifices you and i are going to sow. I believe that as we give a scarifical amount, God will open up the windows of heaven for you. He will pour out not just blessing, but blessings and abundance into your life. You will have so much that you will become a blesser around the people. What do you want from God? What can you give to God? Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams](Eph 3:20- Amplified version)

Wow!!! Another vision from God!!!

This vision is really abt us. This is wat God showed me: A piece of very dry land. The flowers, grass and trees are all withered, dried up. And i saw the sky was very dark. There came a drop of rainwater. And this drop fell on one of the flower. And behold.. tat flower grew back to normal. The flower blossom. Den the rain came down, the flowers, grasses and trees was ''revived''. Here we see a few things. The piece of the dry land represent our CG. Indeed i can see tat the CG is dry. And the flowers represent the members. The grass represent the new frens tat just gt integrated. And the trees represent the core members, the pillars of the CG, Zone and the Church. And i believe God is coming and He is going to do something big in this. So guys and gals, let's hold fast to our faith. I believe tat God has begun His work and the CG will able to multiply by September o8. E315 ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

A revelation from God

Just as i was reading my sis Bible, God showed mii a verse in Proverbs 3:23: ''Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.'' Allow mii to break the verse for you. ''Trust in the Lord with all your heart.'' Wat does it mean to trust? To trust means that u have full of faith and confidence in all your heart. Wat does it means? It means that u dun doubt God, having destroy all form of doubt in your heart. If u have doubt, God cant move. Second part, ''And lean not on your understanding'' Wat is lean? to depend or rely. When u need help, dun ask ur frens for help first, but ask God. Rely on him to answer ur problems. And whenever u need someone's help, ask God. Depend on God to help you. Part 3: In all your ways acknowledge Him
Wat is acknowledge? to admit to be real or true; recognize the existence, truth, or fact. Confess that God is ur very help in time of need. And God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all that u can imagine/dream/pray. Last part: And He shall direct your paths. The meaning of direct that after u have surrendered all ur visions, dreams, desires, wishes, God will direct you to them. You may think it's impossible. But as assuredly i tell u the truth: With God all things, again i say ALL THINGS, are possible. So guys and gals, let's rely on God rather than ourselfves. Tat's all folks. A vision that I saw on the 05/07/08

Dear guys and gals, it's been a long time that i said something. Just wanna share that during the last cg, we have a ministry time. The Presence of God was very tangible. And we oso have our own ministry time or wat we call as deliverance. During the ministry time, Alvin prayed for mii. And he oso delivered mii out of my disappointments. After he prayed for mii, behold, i saw a vision from God. I found myself in the pitless hole surrounded wif darkness. And on top of mii, i could see a very dim light. Den Alvin having the Spirit of God, stretch out his hands and pick mii out of the pitless hole, into God's marvelous light. I felt so much better ,relaxed in the Presence. Indeed wat the song says that in the Presence i will find God's peace. So tat's all guys and gals. E315 ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

9 steps to defeat Procrastination

Just wanna introduce a word to you all. Which is also one of word in my title, tat's rite, tat word is PROCRASTINATION. Quite a long word, let mii tell you the meaning. I did some research on tis word Procrastination: To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness. Many a times, we are given tasks/work etc, and we often put it aside. Work is something tat we humans dun like it, but it is because of work tat give us promotion. Now if u want to be a person of excllence, you and i need to defeat procrastination. Now here are some ways u can defeat:1. Activate your Planner- start using ur organiser/PDA etcIf u fail to plan, U plan to fail.2. Break large tasks- break the large tasks/work into smaller tasks. So tat you got time to think through wat to do first.Nothing is ever too hard if u plan it well.3. Create deadlines. -Never take ur own sweet time to finish ur work/tasks, whether big or small.Discipline yourself.4. Deal with Mess- You cant work on a messy table. Before even u start working, you should clear your table. Start ur work wif a clear mind and table.5. Encourage Yourslf- whenever u need a encouraging word, u can pat urself on ur shoulder saying, ''well done''.6. Face your fears- the more u run from fear, the more fear will chase u. Instead of running away from fear, u should face ur fears, so tat u will become wat we called as overcomer.7. Goals Review- whenever u accomplish a goal, marked it down as done.8. Hang on, don't give up- you are almost to ur dreams/destination. hang it on, dun give. Surely, ''whatever a man sows, he will surely reap.''9. Initiate Now- whatever plans u have, do it now, lest something come in the way.Notice tat all the 9 steps starts from A to I. Finally just wanna say, '' if you are called to something, do it now. DON'T PROCRASTINATE

As all of you noe tat the year is coming to a end, let us fulfil watever God has spoken to us. Whatever u desire or hope for, go for it. Even as the is coming to a end, it is always better tha the beginning. Whatever tat's over is over. Let's leave behind all the hurts, sorrows. Let's look forword to a brand new year.
